Hey, just question about this switch, the ETH port says its for management access. Can it still accept incoming internet data? How else would it work?
And SFP is not an option from the router / modem

In this case, the most proper option is to use a RJ45 transceiver.
This port is intended for management only, so light traffic. However, contrary to other Mikrotik switches where the management port is 100 Mb/s only and handled by the (weak) CPU, the RJ45 port of the CRS305 is a full 1 Gb/s and handled directly by the switch chip (see block diagram); it should be able to handle data traffic.
