Is it just _our_ TrueNAS-Setup?

Since upgrading our clients to Safari 15 on MacOS the WebUI of our TrueNAS servers isn't accessible anymore. The former workaround (enabling NSURLSession Websockets) isn't possible, since Apple apparently removed the setting from developer's experimental features.

Safari on iOS 15 works fine.

Could anybody please confirm, that it's Safari 15 on MacOS? If this is the case, I'd file a jira-ticket.

Thanks in advance!

That's a lame regression (on safari's part). Go ahead and file a ticket, but in the meantime I assume Chrome and other browsers still work?

Yes, they do. (Chrome and other WebKit forks, that is.) At home I don‘t mind.

But @ the office I‘m „fighting“ hard for every piece of software, that‘s not needed (and so I don‘t need to install/patch/update).

Oddly enough, i don't have any issues accesing the GUI on TrueNAS 12.0 U5.1 with Safari 15 on MacOS 11.6 using a Macbook Air.

Then something is wrong over here. Thank you very much.

### EDIT: ###

Dug into it: Safari's developer console threw some "OSStatus error -9836" hitting the login page of the server(s), which apparently means some sort of tls-handling error.

After erasing/resetting all certs in keychain access on the clients, pulling certificates to and fro, readjusting trust levels from scratch and reenabling TLS1.2 on the server side it works (again) now.

Thanks again.
