I am trying to configure WebDAV on my TrueNAS Core server. When I configure it to use port 8080, it works. However, I'd like to use a non-standard port to improve security.
I first tried configure WebDAV in the Services section to use port 50000, but attempts to connect failed (browser timeout). Then, thinking that 50000 was in the dynamic port range, I then tried port 8090. Still no connection.
Note that I had enabled port forwarding in my firewall for each attempt's port number. The port forwarding worked because port 8080 worked.
The WebGUI seems to allow me to enter any port number I want, so I'm stymied.
Any ideas?
