I am in the process of doing long overdue maintenance. I will be replacing my HDDs, adding some RAM, adding offsite backups etc. As I am cleaning up my storage i noticed that the dataset share type is set to Unix. Been that way since I set it up several years ago. I have only windows machines in my network. Can I or should I change this to windows and use windows for the additional datasets I plan to add?

Dataset type
My NAS is used for automated backups from the family computers (running Windows) and as a storage for a torrent seedebox. The pool itself is of Windows type right now (and the dataset with torrents data is Unix one). What would be the ideal setup, and does the type even matter from performance...
