TrueNAS system doesn't connect to network after rebooting

Hi all,

I just came across an issue that I'm not able to solve myself after poking around for quite some time now.
For some background: the setup of my TrueNAS system was done about a week ago on my secondary desk, including monitor/keyboard/mouse/ethernet-cable. Everything went out fine, I "installed" three applications on it. While playing around with the applications, I restarted the system dozens of times and it came back fine.

After it was stable for a few days without touching it I decided to shut it down and wanted to change it's location in the room. I put it below my desk (only ethernet attached) and wondered why it didn't come up after rebooting. It turned out it didn't even connect to my network, although clearly running with the same switch. So I changed the switch-port (using the one I used when the system was on my second desk) and even using the same cable as before. In the logs it looks like everything is fine (static IP set correctly), but it just doesn't connect to my network.

1. Screenshot: output after restarting
2. Screenshot: output of "ifconfig" (console)

Do you guys have any clue whats going on here? And if yes: how to fix this on CLI as I don't have the GUI any longer... Any help appreciated! Thanks guys.

It's very likely your cable is experiencing EM interference from something (e.g., junction box, transformer, or some other in-floor or in-wall electrical device), which is playing havoc with the packet waveforms. Does everything go back to normal when the system is at your secondary desk? You may need to get shielded cable.

Thank you for your reply!
Actually I took the photos after putting it at my second desk again. So yeah, doesn’t work there now as well… sorry missed that in my post.
