TrueNas Scale VM with Multiple Virtual Drives

So from what I can tell there is no good way to create a VM in scale with multiple virtual drives (one for OS and one for DATA). Is this right or am I missing something?

Select the VM under the Virtualization menu... go to Devices... Add... Disk... ???

Yeah you can add an existing disk but I don't see a way to create a new disk to add to the VM.

Storage... Pools... Pick a location, and create a new ZVOL, then add it as above.

Ahhh okay, I wasn't expecting to have to leave VM section to create a drive for it. I am use to more traditional Hypervisors like Hyper-V and VMware. Thank you for your help.

Feel free to raise a feature request in Jira if you feel like it's a thing people need.

I guess it's not super-high priority for the devs right now while they deal with a relatively new system and a lot of more important bugs & performance issues, but may eventually get handled.

I feel like it would make sense to have the option to make ZVOL drives from that menu but I understand that might not be a priority right now as this is still a fairly new system under heavy development. I am glad its atleast possible, just not super intuitve. I might still make a feature request so its on their radar atleast.

I just realized there already is the ability to add a zVOL drive right from the VM Devices. I did not initially see this option as I believe is takes a few seconds to populate after clicking the drop down.
