Howdy folks. I have been testing out TrueNAS Scale for a little while and all seems to be working well, however I am curious how everyone is backing up their boot drive. I currently have a 120GB SSD which is holding my TrueNAS Scale installation. I'd like something that backs up my boot drive in an image format to an SMB share automatically, so that I can easily restore this onto a replacement SSD if it happens to fail. I tried installing Veeam Agent for Linux, however it cannot backup ZFS partitions. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Quite frankly: you don't. You reinstall the system on new boot media if the old boot media fails. You then reupload the configuration file. There are a variety of scripts that let you automatically archive your configuration file, or you can just download it to your PC when you make a change. There is nothing worth saving on the boot media. You cannot install other stuff like Veeam because this isn't a general Linux system, but rather an appliance OS, and it won't work correctly in the long term, even if you manage to get it working today.

Where can I find the script?
