I created a VM to test windows and the Screen size is stuck at 800x600 even if i go into the display and change VLC size to 1920x1080.

You need to install display drivers for Virtio

I downloaded the Virtio ISO and loaded it when I installed my Windows 10 as a second CD drive, then searched for drivers
