TrueNAS not finding boot-pool

I have a virtualized TrueNAS Core install that was working until an unscheduled reboot of my hypervisor. Boot disk is apparently a zfs pool called boot-pool. Getting an error that says: "Mounting from zfs:boot-pool/ROOT/13.0-U5.3 failed with error 5"
Then dropped to a mountroot> prompt. Can't seem to zpool import here and listing devices with the ? doesn't list boot-pool. Is there a way to import this pool from here? Am I left with any options?

First, if you have the TrueNAS configuration saved, you should be able to re-install your boot device and restore your configuration. Maybe 30 minutes of work if you have not done it before. Faster if you have.

Second, virtualizing TrueNAS or ZFS requires very specific things to prevent data loss. The fact that your boot-pool has problems may indicate that you have not passed the boot-pool device controller through to the VM. Failure to do this may cause data loss, (and same applies to any data pool).

Please describe your hardware completely. And how the disks, (boot or data), are configured in the VM. See this for details;
