TrueNAS Enterprise disk query

I have a TrueNAS X20 plus ES24 storage shelf at my disposal.
Unfortunately it is out of support hence asking here.
It would make a great archive storage server. and has 12 free disk slots. I am considering purchasing 18Tb SAS drives (Toshiba MG09SCA18TE) but I am unsure if they are supported in the ES24 shelf.

Anyone have any experience of using these drives in these chassis?

I don't have one at my disposal to test, but I would imagine that the ES24 is SAS based, in which case the answer would be yes.
Does the cable look like this?

Yes, looking at the existing drives in the chasis they are all 6Tb SAS Enterprise disks. I guess my query is more whether it will support 18Tb disks and whether the FC-MAMR technology is any good with ZFS.

They look compatibile with 18TB drives and are compatibile with (mini) SAS3.
Toshiba says FC-MAMR are CMR, so they should be safe for ZFS.

Yes that's the units I have. I read that datasheet but must have missed that 18Tb support bit.
Going to bite the bullet and order 4 disks now to try.
