Hello,

I created a windows 10 virtual machine and selected the VirtIO storage driver, however when Windows pre-installation loads there is no disk showing to install the OS.

If I choose AHCI instead of VirtuIO it does see the disk and I am able to install windows.

I have tried to push the VirtuIO drivers into a NTlite wim image and create a new iso from this, however it still does not see the disk.

How do I get VirtuIO working? I've read it's the better performing driver.

you need to get the the virtio iso redhat and add it to your VM as well as the boot iso. basically, you need to give it 2 virtual CD drives.
then, when it says you have no disks, you can tell it it's wrong and point it to the files on the iso
note, however, that bhyve is...not amazing.
