TP-Link TL-WA890EA Wifi Adapter

The TP-Link adapter provides an easy way to integrate FreeNas into a Wifi network without a cable to the Wifi-router.
I am using one port for FreeNas itself and another one for the dedicated IPMI port.
The connection is completely stable, speed however is obviously not comparable to wired ethernet.
It tends to miss the button press to enter the BIOS from the KVM console, probably for that very reason.
However it is very cheap, I picked it up for 26€ on amazon.

Yup. Nothing you can't configure an open source router to do anyway! :)

For me it solved a few cabling headaches.
If you dont need it because you have everything wired up, all the better ;)

Just for clarification: of course I use the second network port on my Nas with a wired connection.
