swapping disks

hello thank for reading my post

i am on TrueNAS-12.0-U8.1 and i want to swap the disks on one of my pools.
i have 3tbs and i want to swap for 6tbs.
please can someone help it has been years since i have done this.

That is an easy swap if you are not encrypted. Encryption adds some more complexity I believe. Read the User Guide, it has the steps to replace the drive. Do it just like the drive had failed.

Remember, the pool size will only spring to the new larger size once the last drive is resilvered.

EDIT: One drive at a time until the resilvering task is complete for each drive.

i have huntingtons disease - which affects me.
i did have a look at the user guide but i couldn't see anything. do you think somebody could go over how to replace my disks step by7 step.

Sorry to hear about the disease.

Take a look at this, it has steps and screen captures of the GUI to guide you through. If you need me to provide less wordy steps, I'm more than happy to but I won't have the cool screen shots to go with it. Remember, while the procedure assumes the average person is replacing a disk due to failure, this works to just replace the disk with a larger drive as well.
