Hi all, this is a long shot but I'm gonna try. My config is folloving:

Motherobard: X11SSL-F
CPU: Xeon E3-1270V6 3.80GHZ
MEM: 4x Kingston FURY 16GB DDR4 3600MHz CL18 Beast Black
HD: 6x Kingston HyperX Savage 960GB
PSU: NZXT C550 Bronze
CPU cooler: Noctua NH-L9i chromax.black

Now no matter what I try the system does not run with more than 2 DIMMS. Each DIM separately works fine, any of them in first two slots (from the edge of the mb) run ok,3 and more produce 0X06 = mrcReadMPRErr error.

Now,
- the "DIMM Module Population Configuration" in the manual page 31 is completely different and does not work at all.
- I'm aware of the option to disable the JI2C1/JI2C2 (SMB to PCI Slots) discussed for instance here, but in my case it does not make any difference.

I'm on the latest BIOS update.

thx all for any hint
Petr

That's not ECC memory and the board is only validated with ECC memory. It's also way faster than anything the CPUs can take, so there's a lot of room for oddities, even if it should, theoretically, work.

As far as I can tell, these are 1.35V sticks, not 1.2V sticks. The Kingston site was contradictory and listed both voltages but every other site I looked at stated they were 1.35V. I'm not sure if the MB can handle that, maybe it can, maybe not.
