According to SuperMicro, there are no electrical x16 slots in this system - the two physical x16 slots have only x8 lanes wired, so x4x4x4x4 birfucation should not even have been exposed as an option. x4x4 should be the correct one.

Try removing the PCIe card in the slot that you have set up for bifurcation, and see if that will allow you to re-enter the BIOS and disable bifurcation. If this does not work, use the CMOS clear button JBT1 on your motherboard, as described in section 2-8 of the PDF manual linked below:

What is the card you are attempting to use with the x4x4x4x4 bifurcation?

Thank you for your help! Sorry, my English is not good, I am using software translation yes, i can Enter the bios after clear CMOS

I read the motherboard manual Here's how I set it up

I want to insert two pcie to U.2 cards in SLOT2 (pcie x8) and SLOT3 (pcie x8), I read the motherboard manual Do SLOT2 and SLOT3 correspond to IOU2 (IIO PCIe Br3)? i enable bifurcation 4x4x4x4 for IOU2 (IIO PCIe Br3)
By the way, I only have 2 U.2 SSDS right now and I didn't plug in all 4 of them

May not be related but I had a similar issue where system kept restarting and wouldn't let me in the BIOs. To fix I had to remove the HBAs then I could boot into BIOs and disable OpROM.

Hello!

I am happy that you are able to enter the BIOS again.

What is the exact model of the PCIe to U.2 cards you are using? I have researched your motherboard model and it appears that other users have had difficulty in getting the bifurcation function to work with cards like the AOC-SLG3-2E4 - this card looks similar to the ones in your picture. Some X11 boards are listed as compatible, but not all boards. There may also be slot restrictions. I am not sure which IOU connects to the slots on your motherboard.

Is there a BIOS update available for your board?
