Hi, I upgraded my truenas scale box from 22.02.02 to 22.02.03 tonight and when it came back up both of my raid2z pools were offline with the big red X on them. I could see all of the drives in the gui but could not get the pool back online. I went to the console and did a zpool import and both pool names and it looks like it is back up and running fine. Not sure what happened. I am just getting ready to start using this server as my personal colo box to replace a very old ESXi machine and now I am a little concerned. Any pointers on what could have happened and what I can do to prevent this in the future? Server is a Dell R730xp with their built in HBA running 4x10tb sata HD drives and 8x1tb SSD sata drives. Thanks!

It is brand new. I built it as 22.02.02.1 about a week ago and have been playing with it getting ready to move data to it from my old server that is in the colo. I was hoping to swap the servers in a week or so but am concerned about stability after that issue. Thanks!

Ok. It might have been a fluke. Upgrades aren't really the best time to evaluate stability. It sounds like nothing was lost and fixing the issue was relatively easy.

I would give it more time testing with regular use and see if the next upgrade does the same thing or not.

I didn't have a painless upgrade to 22.2.03 - but most issues sorted themselves out after another reboot.
NFS has an issue requiring a manual start following a reboot - but that the only serious issue I have left
