So I've been trying to find the right info for setting up a ebook server.
I will be using a kobo with wifi as a reader.

I'm already running SABnzbd and Transmission for some other plugins.

In my ideal world the setup would be basically the same:
- Add ebook (wanted) through web interface (like couchpotato f.e.)
- Auto search (1) NZB -> SABnzbd, (2) Torrent
- Postprocess, get metadata etc.
- Add ebook to server
- Read on ereader

I've searched google a lot but can't find all the right info.
It's also not all to clear if the applications named are supported (by freebsd/freenas etc).
Applications I'm bumping into a lot are LazyLibrarian and Calibre.

Maybe one of you tried setting this up yourself recently and is willing to help me out on this one.
Is a setup like this possible without too many custom scripts?
What applications are used and what is the flow?

I've got Calibre running in a jail, which works fine. Search the forums and you'll find the threads you need.

Thanks for your response Adrian.

If shouldnt be a problem for me to get Calibre up and running. It's the automation part that I cant seem to find the right info for. Calibre does not support searching and snatching NZB's; Or at least not natively according to their website. Do you manually search for the NZB's Or did you manage to automate IT?

Yes, I don't read enough books to warrant trying to automate the process! I simply download whatever I might want to read and add it in to Calibre :)

Allright. I think that'll be the way to go for me too. Thanks again.

LazyLibrarian was never working as smooth for me as I would like it to be. Last time I tried I pointed it to Jackett and it was actually fetching some books but it ended up with more misses then hits. Mylar is an automatic comic book fetcher, but I don't have experience with that.
