Hi
I'm new to the forum and I say HELLO to all of you!
I'm not only new, but VERY noob in this NAS field, as will become apparent in the following. Sorry....
I wanted to set up a NAS to be able to backup/retrieve all my files from every site where I own a Windows PC (three sites: two houses and at work). I thought to do this with the Seagate Business Storage 2-Bay, but I find many problems (for example I can use only FTP to see my files over the internet as I've no access to a 'like Explorer' GUI) and I don't want to signin to the Seagate Global Access (that allows users to access the content stored on the Seagate NAS remotely from a web browser) to be able to read my files!
My first question is: can the freeNAS software help me?
My second question will perhaps follow: if YES, how?
Thanks!
