Hello

Has anybody ever tried to change the above named product over to a FreeNAS?

If so, I prefer some pointers.

Acrding to https://www.smallnetbuilder.com/nas/nas-reviews/30884-seagate-blackarmor-nas-220-reviewed teh unit is not capable of running FreeNAS. The CPU is incompatible, grossly underpowered and the unit only has 128MB of RAM where freeNAS REQUIRES 8GB.
