Given my EVGA PS only has three SATA break out cables, and each cable only supports up to 3 SATA ports, what is the best solution to manage the lack of actual power connection and not to mention all the twisting and bending to the SATA ribbon cables? I did find this
This will help me increase the overall availability to 12, but I have a case/plan to expand to 16 HD, still going to be short. So what are some more clean solution if any that are out there?

Well, you ask for the best option, but that is highly subjective depending on what you think is best. I have used these adapters to split a connector:
They are reliable and of good quality. I have used four of them and not been disappointed.

If you want to go to 16 drives, you need to ensure your power supply is up to the task. I suggest reading this very good article by one of the senior members:

That is a related but different question. To me, the best solution to both was to use a server chassis that had a printed circuit board that carried both data and power to the drive connectors, like this:

You can pickup a used server chassis on eBay for a good price. I picked up the one I am using for around $300 and it included a hot-swap redundant power supply and 48 drive bays. Makes cable management super easy.
