I was wondering if there was a way to set the IMMUTABILTY term on the S3 bucket.
I also use a WASABI bucket and they let you set a period of time for the bucket so it cannot be altered/deleted. And you can LOCK that term or leave the setting modifiable. AKA, I set the bucket to 14 days of immutable protection but later decide to delete the bucket contents. I just set the immutability off, delete the bucket contents and then turn it back on if I want.
My desire is to use this software as a S3 target for my VEEAM Enterprise Backup software but keep it on site due to long upload times across the internet. Being able to control the Immutability is crucial to the success of the project.
