Qbittorrent question

This is not necessarily FreeNAS related, but I have no idea where else to ask (and I didn't get any answers on reddit).

I have qbittorrent running on an Ubuntu server that's dedicated as a simple seedbox, and all the torrents reside on FreeNAS. The problem is, FreeNAS obviously requires credentials to access anything. But I couldn't find anything in qb's webui that would let me specify this, and - I believe - because of that, any download immediatelly stalls and no files are created.

Does anyone have any knowledge about this? I'm at my wit's end. (and I also am not a Linux guy in case this is something I need to solve on the server itself)

What are the permissions on the Additional Storage?

This is not related to jails.

It is. A plugin is really a jail and if you want the plugin to use storage on the NAS, you have to follow the instructions in that link.

But I said I was running qbittorrent on a server. Not on FreeNAS.

But meanwhile it got even more complicated and WAY outside the scope of this forum, so I'll take my silly questions elsewhere :)
