I have a pool with 3x 5 drive ZFS RaidZs, every time I delete a file or try to from a windows client using SMB, TrueNAS recreates the file. It won't let me delete it. The file gets deleted, but then 2 or 3 seconds later the file is back.
I am trying to migrate from a QNAP NAS to TrueNAS but every time I try to copy files over, something is happening, the files get created but they are 0 byes in size, when I try to delete them and copy them back from the source, the files are recreated in the TrueNAS pool.
I am not aware of any "auto recovery" feature, I don't think I enabled anything like that.
Also when I go back to the source and try to copy them back, the 0 byte version keeps overwriting the actual file rather than the being replaced or deleted.
Please help.
