OK, I'm not sure what's going on here. I've dug around through other threads but nothing seems to match what I have going on.

In the last couple days Plex has gotten a bit buggy, slow to access, timing out, ect.
I attributed this to the drives being busy moving data around as a friend whom is leaving town needs me to store his data for a while.
Of this data is 4.6TB of music so I thought why not just add it to my music folder since I have pretty much nothing in there and yes I asked.

After the transfer completed Plex become unresponsive but here's the funny part.....
I don't access Plex via plex.tv but via the IP address to the server (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:32400/web/index.html#!/) and it comes up but my library files do not.
I get the error that "Plex is currently unavailable"

If I go to settings it says "The server is unreachable. Make sure it's running, double check your network and try again"
Which is funny since it is the server.
So it seems to be a background service of some kind is broke and/or the database is stalling the server out.

I've tried deleting the mount point from plex to Music, that didn't seem to help either.

I have also tried rolling the jail back to a snapshot that is a few days old, back when it was working, that changed nothing.

I've also noticed this message in the message console at the bottom of the gui...
Aug 20 17:43:26 storage 1 2022-08-20T17:43:26.839211-07:00 storage.TS.local avahi-daemon 18305 - - IP_DROP_MEMBERSHIP failed: Can't assign requested address
Which is interesting since I am able to ping the outside world from the terminal inside the jail and I can access it from a web gui.

I can roll the jail back further but it was working a few days ago.
I have run the PMSUpdater and I keep plex up to date as updates become available.

Anyone have any ideas?
I'm unsure as to which logs to check inside plex.
The logs in /var/logs didn't give me anything helpful.

Hmm, strange, well I either have a resource issue or a conflict issue because turning off one of my other jails allowed the plex server to come back online.
Weird!

Sounds more like a network issue.

One would think but no, it was apparently a memory issue.
I didn't notice it until after I restarted the server but the Dashboard was reporting that services were using a LOT of memory and the ZFS cache had very little memory allocated.
After the server restart it's the exact opposite, services are using very little while ZFS is (as it should be) using most the memory.
I'm wondering if there's a leaky app somewhere.
Earlier, shutting down the other jail just freed up some memory for a little bit but then the problem returned.
Not that I have a lot of RAM to spare at 64GB.
Since the build of this server RAM has come down in price so I'm going to replace the RAM with some larger modules.
