Are there any pci thunderbolt card that are currently supported? I saw some news a while ago about support coming to freebsd 10, not sure if it ever made it into release or if there is anything that can be done to manually enable it.

FreeNAS is based on FreeBSD 9.

Thunderbolt isn't particularly stable on Windows. Don't hold your breath waiting for it to be a good option with FreeNAS.

I fully expect PCI-e over USB 3.1 to take over Thunderbolt's role in the vast majority of cases, and even that is a few years off.
