In a network there are 15 Windows PCs, 3 Linux PCs, 2 Macs, 1 Linux server for web applications, 2 TrueNAS SCALE, 1 Qnap, 1 WinServer used only for SQLServer Express.
There is no DC because the ADs have not been activated. There are no CAL.
In this context I wanted to install OpenLDAP or Samba AD on a Linux server to better manage authentication and services, leaving the NAS for file sharing.
What do you think? Which of the two is better?
