Hi all.

I would like to know how you guys configure NUMA on your multi processor systems? My Google searches tell me that I should, for now, configure memory in SMP mode..

The system is going to be used as a filer and is going to run the Plex plugin.

Hardware:

MB: ASUS Z9PA-D8C (Intel 602-A PCH)
CPU: 2x Intel Xeon E5-2620V2
RAM: 64 GB DDR3 ECC
HDD/SSD: to be decided
HBA: LSI 9211-8i

FreeNAS 9.3 is going to be utilized.

SMP mode for now. As dlavigne states, FreeBSD 9.3 has no native NUMA support so it just needs to see the memory as one big chunk, let the underlying hardware deal with it, and accept any latency penalty that comes with accessing foreign memory.
