Greeting,

I have been playing around with Truenas Core for a couple of months now. Yesterday I setup a Windows 10 virtual machine. All of this is new & I do have it working with the exception of ethernet. In windows I don't see any network adapters. In the Device Manager I do see one device issue with an Ethernet Controller under Other devices. I cannot correct the driver issue or update. I found another post that referred to the NIC and VNC having the same order number. That was my case & I did change the order number from 1002 to 1003. This did not fix my issue. My set is setup for VirtIO so now I am not sure where to go.

Try attaching an iso with the virtio drivers. Those are not included in Windows.

On the CD-Rom drive I see the VirtIO driver image. Do I need to install them? Sorry if this seems like a dumb question.

if they're unpacked, then you can go into device manager and tell Windows to update, using the path to the drive, and have the checkbox for recursive checked. Then it should figure out how to use them
