SOLVED No option to create RAID

My goal is to set up RAID with a new volume, however the layout dropdown will not give me the option. I also only have SMB and no CIFS if that has anything to do with it. How do I by pass this to set up RAID

It isn't giving you that option because your disk sizes are mismatched. If you click the Manual Setup button, you'll be able to set up the mirror there.

If you mean group type in manual there are only two radiobuttons for either mirror and stripe

And those are the only options when you only have two disks.
