Nextcloud 13.1-RELEASE-p4 Failing to start

Im hoping someone can help. Ever since I updated to TrueNAS-13.0-U3.1 My next cloud jail has failed to load. I just get a failed to open page.
I can shell into it and turn off maintenance mode or turn it on at this stage I'm not sure but I can then open Nextcloud but I get the message saying it has to be updated or something like that.

I have tried to manually update it but I get the message about been a major update and it just fails. Im hoping someone can help so I can get all my photos.

Seems like a message you might do well to pay a bit more attention to.

Sorry guys I should of tried to explain it a bit better. From what I can remember my first update was via the GUI and everything went ok, That was a while back. Then what happened was Truenas gave me the option to update to from 12 to 13. Once I done this I tried to update Nextcloud via the jail as it was running 12.2. Maybe I’m wrong but the Jail updated to 13.1 but Nextcloud didn’t update?
So as it stands I had Nextcloud in maintenance mode, I then opened the Shell and navigated to nextcloud config file. Changed maintenance mode to false.

Refreshed the nextcloud page and I get the Nextcloud will be updated to version 25.00
Press the update button and get the following: Exception: Updates between multiple major versions and downgrades are unsupported.
I have opened the shell in the nextcloud jail and tried to run occ upgrade. I get the below error

Nextcloud or one of the apps require an upgrade - only a limited number of commands are available.
Exception:Updates between major multiple versions and downgrades are unsupported, Update failed
Maintenance mode is kept active
Reseting log level

Do you find snapshots of the jail from before the last update attempt? (iocage snaplist nextcloud ... assuming your jail is named nextcloud)

No the official one wasn’t out when I first installed it so it was in the community list.
I haven’t checked to see if there is snapshots, I’ll have a look when I get home from work.
Is there not just a folder I can access that has all the photos and copy them out?

I have Nextcloud running on my truenas scale server and the plan is to try import them all to that.

So I can’t seem to find iocage snaplist nextcloud. In the iocage directory there is a couple of directory’s. Jails been the only one that carries onto nextcloud. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place? I did manage to navigate to the couple of folders that hold all my photos.

At least I know I can copy them out onto another machine.

OK, best is to create a new jail and copy them across.

Please copy everything first before destroying the jail. Otherwise you will lose your data.

And I recommend using this script to install.

Thanks for the help guys. So I managed to copy the 100Gig or so of photos from the shell of my core server over to a SMB share I created on my Scale server. I then took a copy of them all onto my IMac so Im happy with that.
I have nextcloud from the official charts installed on my scale server and have yet to import everything. I still have so much to learn about Core and Scale so I’m going to try do everything the correct way on the Scale server.
