Hi!

I'm new to Truenas, I have configured it and was running it without many issues. However now, whenever I create a new user (in a new group) and assign ACL to a new dataset, no matter what different way I try, windows 10 says that connection failed to the folder. However to the same data set, If i assign an old user, it works perfectly. Again when i assign the new user, connection failed. Created a new dataset, new users, new groups same thing. All new data sets work with an old username, and with same configuration whenever I assign a new user, it fails. I've been trying for so long but there seems to be no solution. Please help.

Run following commands and see if it fixes the issue:
rm /var/db/system/samba4/private/passdb.tdb
midclt call smb.synchronize_passdb -job

this sounds similar to my issue I posted today:

Did above commands help?
Just in case:
Is it enough to upload an saved config file in case above commands destroy my passdb by any fault or do I need another backup?
