New PCIe HBA Card

Can anyone recommend a PCIe HBA SAS card of at least 24-Chanels?

I am looking a highpoint card, but it is not clear whether it is compatible with TrueNAS.

We tend to reccomend cards by LSI - as they work.
9200, 9300 are good. More modern cards are viewed with a certain amount of suspicion as they are not well tested

Not really, though if you find a LSI/Broadcom/Avago HBA (not RAID controller) with 24 channels, go for it. Our general recommendation would be a 4- or 8-channel card with a SAS expander.

Thank you for comments, due you have any specific recommendations, when looking online there is a lot not a clear chose on either a PCIe card or SAS expander.
