New-ish iSCSI initiator for OSX, and it's open source

Hi all,

If anyone's up for testing out a new iSCSI initiator for OSX, this (actively developed) project looks interesting:

It's lists FreeNAS (9.3) as being compatible, with no known issues:

Thanks for the info! I've just tried it. It works well, but I get speeds of about 200MB/s (R/W) while globalSAN goes up to 700MB/s. But that might be just my constellation and other people may get better speeds.

No idea. :)

Wrote that a couple years ago when I used OSX. It's not my daily desktop any more, and I never really got around to doing much with that iSCSIInitiator project anyway.

Do you have a GitHub account? If so, maybe ask on their GitHub repo if there are known settings or things to change, which might help with the speed?
