Multicast capability in a Jail

Hello and sorry for the probably newbie question.

I'd like to be able to run the HDHomerun Record application in a jail, however, when I attempt to enable multicast functionality (so the HDHomerun can discover the storage device), I end up getting:

Cannot enable multicast routing in kernel: Operation not permitted

Is there a way around that? I'm not sure what information would be helpful, but I'm running FreeNAS-11.3-U5 in an ESXi 6.7 VM. I realize I could set up another Linux VM with an NFS mount or similar to accomplish this, but I'd like to just keep this on the FreeNAS host itself if possible.

Thank you!

Have you tried enabling it on the TrueNAS host? Add a tunable of type LOADER, name ip_mroute_load, value YES, and reboot.

I added ip_mroute_load, set it to YES, type LOADER in System->Tunables and rebooted, but still get the same message about not being able to enable multicast routing from within the jail :(.
