Moving zvol to another dataset in the same volume

I have a couple of iSCSI extents. They are currently located in different datasets. I would like to move them to a newly created dataset in the same volume without disturbing the data in those extents. Is this possible, if so then how?

Seems zfs send | recv would be the way...

This guy talks about it and offers an alternative in case you can't snapshot for some reason.

Not really but a workaround which took some time. Those zvol were iSCSI targets for ESXi and Xen Host. So I end up moving the virtual machine to local hard drive. Once the VM were backed up I end deleting the zvol and creating new ones the way I wanted and them moved the VMs back into the zvols. Everything worked ok the end. I thought there might be a quicker way but I couldn't find any resource that points to it.
