Managing or Contributing to Community Plugins?

Hey Community,

This is my first post in a very long time, maybe even ever here. I've learned a lot in the past 5 or so years since I started learning about servers and doing home-labby type stuff. I just put together a TrueNAS install running Sonarr, Lidarr, Radarr, and Plex Media Server. I'd like to contribute to the community plugins to help maintain them and get the build used by the plugins page up to date for the *arr trio. Does anyone know where I'd go or who I'd contact to learn about doing that?

You can start with the GitHub repo which is used to populate the community plugins behind the scenes: https://github.com/ix-plugin-hub/iocage-plugin-index. Then look for the *arr.json files, and see who the contributers are.

I created a How To Create an unofficial iocage plugin resource a while back. It shows how to script a plugin from scratch. I just updated the links and such for TrueNAS CORE to make sure things still work.

The official documentation also has some great information here and here on the various files and properties that make up a plugin.
