Mac Mini 2011 FreeNAS

i have been given a Mac Mini 2011 free nas with i5 8gb of ram

i have looked to see if i can turn in in to a nas but theres not a lot of info out

do you have any idear if this can be done

Not a good choice for FreeNAS: only supports a single hard disk, so you can't even set up a RAID1/mirror.

They can be good servers, with Low power consumption and even do nas things, but Not with freenas!
