LSI 9211-8i powers PC off seconds after boot.

I'm probably just missing something small, but I'm just getting into these SAS cards.

So I'm planning on adding some storage, and extra pair of Seagate Ironwolfs. My mobo won't have enough SATA ports to support another redundant pair, so looked into how to expand. Got a 9211-8i for a decent price, threw it in with no drives connected to check everything will boot fine, it did not. It will start up for a couple seconds, then shut off on it's own. Take the card out, boots just fine. The PCI-E slot is functioning as I've had my NIC in there until getting this card, and have used an old GPU for the initial setup process to get video.

This might be an issue better solved with a system upgrade rather than an add on card, any LGA 2011-3 board recommendations are also welcome to just bypass this issue.

Any additional info needed I'll provide.

RAM: 16 GB (Looking into making this 32GB at least)

PSU: Corsair 550 Watt
