Hello all, im getting started with truenas scale, and i saw there is an option to create cluster, when doing so, is there a way to use clustering to make the containers high available? Basically if a node goes down, it will automatically switch the containers to the next available node?

Not yet... clustering is in development. CSI driver for storage planned for Bluefin (beta this quarter).

For commercial users the HA system of TrueNAS is now available. It provides a 2-node active-standby arrangement.

Just to further clarify:

We have a CSI driver today that lets TrueNAS be used as Storage for an existing K8's cluster:

Proper K8's clustering of apps in SCALE is currently slated for the next major SCALE release after Bluefin (Q4 2022)

Traditional 2-node "HA" support for TrueNAS is in "Limited Availability" access at this time, if you are an existing Enterprise customer you would need to contact your support representative to discuss if you'd be a candidate for this type of access.

Will you only release 2-nodes? or will you be able to add more than 2 nodes to a cluster? For clustering apps

Kubernetes clustering with gluster backed storage will most likely also be 3 nodes and up as well.
