JellyFin using NFS share for media only set rwx for user 568

Hi All,

I've installed JellyFin from the TrueChart catalog and I've used NFS share as the source for the media. The NFS server is actually on another server and correctly configured to let access to the TrueNas Scale server. So, I'm pointing to that NFS server with the appropriate path and I've tried both to send this to /Movies and, as a second attempt, to /media/Movies. I've followed the procedure documented at https://truecharts.org/manual/guides/nfs-share/ and I can see that it is mounted. However, the path where I ask this NFS share to be mounted is always configured as 700 for user 568 which doesn't allow the app to browse the content. I've tried to mount that same NFS share directly on a temporary path on TrueNAS and I'm able to see all the subfolders and files which confirm that the NFS share is configured correctly. I was thinking about changing the security to 777 but, connecting to the shell of the apps, we don't seems to have permission to do much.

In the apps, whoami is telling me that it cannot find name for user ID 568. And if I look at /media/Movies, /media is 755 for root:root and Movies is 700 for nobody.

I'm used to Linux so would be encline to find a way to get the proper security level (sudo) and change it manually but... as I'm into a controlled environment, I'm not sure that would be wise. It is most likely better to find the real way of fixing this.

Any idea? It may be obvious but I've not found anything similar in my search up to now. I've explored this forum and google in general without success. Hope it is obvious and that the answer will benefit others in the future.

Thank you.
