Greetings!

I am at a loss as how to configure this.

These settings used to work but now it's not.

JDownloader Version: 1.7.1_7.0.7 (Latest)
TrueNAS SCALE: 22.02.0.1 (Latest)

The exact storage options configured works for Deluge but not JDownloader2.

EDIT: Spelling/typo/grammar

Should I post this to the Jira? Or for Docker apps it's different?

To those who are still looking for an answer to the above question, I have the solution already.

First, on Storage and Persistance, scroll down to App Output Storage section and set Type of Storage to HostPath (simple).
Tick Automatic Permissions.

Point the hostPath to your desired folder on your NAS.

Then on the JDownloader2 app itself, make sure download path is pointed to "/output".

Done.

Many thanks to the TrueCharts Discord team for answering my question there! :)

Hi, I forgot to set the HostPath and downloaded a 9GiB file and now cannot find the output folder within my pool. Is there anyway to access the output folder. Thanks

Additionally keep in mind This. I had to reaistall jdownloader2 app. Before everything was working fine with ACL. After reinstall there was "Invalid Download Directory" error. And literally I had to add User "apps" with Basic-Modify permissions. Group "apps" was not sufficient (jest user apps was member of the group) .
BTW when it was not working I was able to create files from app shell so I gues it has something to do with how apps are working.
