Is this good? Lenovo TS140 with Intel Xeon 1225 V3, 4GB ECC Ram

I am planning to buy TS140 from Amazon. Is this good configuration for running FreeNAS?


Following are my need for home server...
- file server
- plex media server
- owncloud
- Usage is low to medium
- Will add another 4gb ECC for better ZFS performance

The additional 4 GB of RAM will only bring you up to the bare-minimum hardware requirements, so I wouldn't really expect it to give you "better ZFS performance".

Good idea!!! i can go with TS440 as it has hot swap drive bays
