I've read other discussions talking about mirroring backups on their nas, but I'm wondering if it's possible to mirror your PC to your nas.
As in, if you delete a photograph off your PC, is there a way I can make it so the nas also deletes the photograph? So the nas is constantly In Sync with the main computer

My apologies if this is phrased incorrectly, I'm new to using a network attached storage

Nextcloud which can be run on TrueNAS CORE or TrueNAS SCALE provides this.

I am using Syncthing for this. Nextcloud would have the advantage of also providing clients for your smartphone (if that is useful for you).

I'm also using Syncthing for this purpose.
Synchting has an android client too, which makes it useful for uploading/synchronizing photos/music/any folder on your phone.

If you'd like some additional "buffer" you could have an rsync job ran daily to send off / synchronize files. (easily done on linux - I've no clue on windows).

RslSync works great for this.
Very unobtrusive. Runs as a Service in Windows and in a Jail in TrueNAS
Free for personal use
