Hello everyone,
Do you know how to use an ioDrive2 for ProLiant (fusion-IO) with Truenas Scale?
I have one on my server, might as well use it!

Thanks for the reading!
and happy new year

Seems that this device should be compatible with Linux and would serve as a SLOG or fast VM pool device.

It seems to have super-high write endurance (16PB)

I see no reference to PLP though, which may be OK if it presents as NVME (not sure how it presents).

Ok working.

look here

Work perfectly on trueNAS-SCALE-22.12.3.2 .

i use dkms for the driver

dpkg for utils, Just need to chmod +x /bin/dpkg

( I use vsl3 version )

git clone https://github.com/snuf/iomemory-vsl cd iomemory-vsl/ sudo make dkms

git clone https://github.com/RemixVSL/vsl_downloads.git cd vsl_downloads cd vsl3 (or vsl4)
then Dpkg fio...............deb

fio-status -a to identify the disk ( in my case "fioa" )

zpool create [zpoolname] fioa

zpool export [zpoolname]

then go to gui and import the zpool

Best.

Not likely, given the hacky nature of the software and utter irrelevance of the hardware in practical terms.

I don't agree : those untis are cheap, very reliable and indestructible with high write endurance. I don't see why not take advantage of it !
So yes, the drivers are maintained by certain people (some worked at Fusio IO ) and what?
If we could just see the 'disk' in the GUI, that would be pretty good ! It was the case until version 22.02.2 obviously, i just saw this post .

Best
