Installing TrueNAS scale on DL360G7

Hi,

I cannot boot my TrueNAS installation because I no longer get the prompt "Select boot mode". In earlier releases you could select UEFI or BIOS but now I can longer select this. What can I do to make the TrueNAS installer install with legacy BIOS boot mode set?

The SCALE installer always creates a BIOS boot partition and installs grub to the PMBR and GPT boot partition.

But I'm unable to boot from the SSD it's installed on. Every other OS runs fine. Are you absolutely sure it doesn't install UEFI? What else could I possibly try?

Hi, I was actually able to make this work after all.

I recreated the installer on a USB with Ventoy. Re-installed it and it booted fine after that.

It always sets up for both BIOS and UEFI boot.
