There is 400g space available in boot pool. I want to use them. Is there any way?

Don't think about their security or whether the system crashes.

Because my boot disk is nvme disk, I want to use the free space to install vm machine.

I followed this guide Split SSD install via reddit, kept 64gb for the boot disk, and the rest of my 256gb SSD I use for VM's. Be aware it's not supported at all, however with TrueNAS you can easily restore a config without any issues.

As you can see the message above it's not recommended or ideal for most use cases but a fast NVME drive shouldn't go to waste either
