Once you select enough disks, RAIDZ2 will show as an option in the Volume Layout drop-down menu.

Are the disks formatted (if so, with what)?

Are the disks the same size?

Do you already have a pool or are you setting up storage for the first time on this system?

Setting up for the first time. Disks are all 2tb. The show up in the disk manager but I cant import any of them. What formatting should they have?

If you're creating for the first time, you don't import. Click Volume Manager, give the volume a name, drag the slider to select the 4 disks, make sure the Volume Layout says RAIDZ2, and click Add Volume. If that doesn't work, post a screenshot of what the screen looks like when you try.

Lol. I didnt even see that. What would you go with? Z2 with 3.6 tb or z with 5.6 tb? How much storage would I get if I were to add 2 2tb drives to the array in z2?

If it's valuable, irreplaceable data you should go with RAIDZ2. You gain parity with RAIDZ2 at the cost of storage space. You will want to add the drives to the rest of the drives and recreate the pool from scratch - all data will be erased.
