GPU Passthrough

Hello,

I am very new to True NAS Core and I am coming into some issues that I need help with... I am trying to passthrough a GPU that is installed. I was first prompted to enable IOMMU in the BIOS, I did so and it is prompting me to do it again. I have checked many times and still it prompts me to enable IOMMU. I am also encountering a problem where the fan on the GPU isn't spinning. It is twitching (VIDEO) but not spinning, whether it is a hardware issue I don't know because the fan works fine when inside a Windows system. The GPU is recognised by the system and appears with the ID 32/0/0. Any help with my issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks all.

bhyve is very basic, and I'm not sure pass-through even works correctly.
use scale instead of core. KVM is far better supported and developed; scale has GPU passthough as a selection right in the UI.

that said, a fan not spinning doesn't necessarily mean a problem with the GPU. if the GPU isn't hot enough, the fan doesn't need to spin. it's sounds likely that the GPU isn't being used, so the fan doesn't need to do any cooling.

Thanks for the response!

The GPU is definitely being used because the CPU usage and temperatures stay very low when its trans coding. Is there any way I can see GPU temps in TrueNAS Core?
