Hello,

I am completely lost. I hope someone can help me. I am running version 11.3.

Without reading too much in the manual I have setup a new network interface (before I had none configured) which I pointed to my Fritz Box router IP address 192.168.178.1. Since then my freenas cannot be reached any more via browser. Pretty obvious if I have two devices on the same IP address. Fritzbox denies any access to the freenas, which is logical. Looks like I am the only stupid person who does this... as I could not find any suggestions in the forum.

My question: Is there a way e.g. via command line to delete the Network interface? Or any other maybe smarter idea?

Thanks in advance for your input.

My best Bernd2310

Hi. Hook up a monitor and a keyboard to your TrueNAS box and if you're lucky you'll be greeted by a user-friendly menu like this:
Code:
Console setup
-------------

1) Configure Network Interfaces
2) Configure Link Aggregation
3) Configure VLAN Interface
4) Configure Default Route
5) Configure Static Routes
6) Configure DNS
7) Reset Root Password
8) Reset Configuration to Defaults
9) Shell
10) Reboot
11) Shut Down

The web user interface is at:

https://10.0.0.100

Enter an option from 1-11:

Enter <1> to change your IP address.

Hello glauco,

thanks for your reply. After some trails I have also seen this menue... would have been the easiest path.

As I was a little under time pressure I decided for the following path (a little more complicated):
1) Login to my Fritzbox.
2) Change the IP address of the Fritzbox
3) Restart Fritzox
4) Login to freenas-Server
5) Delete the network interface in freenas
6) Restart freenas
7) Login to my Fritzbox and change back to the original IP followed by a restart of the Fritzbox
AND tata!!! My freenas had its former IP adress and everthing was working.

Thanks for the great support!
