Hello all,
I have read the FreeNAS documentation regarding NFS and I have also tried googling it without any luck, hope you can possibly help me.
I have to export and mount a dataset which is in a deep level folder, something like /mnt/data/backup/clonezilla/machine1/YYYY/MM/DD

Now, I would like to export this folder just as i.e. /clonezilla instead of having to type the full path every time I mount it.

Is there an option to set somewhere to do that?
Eventually, would it be possible to create a symbolic link of the folder to an upper level of the filesystem and export it from there?

With NFS, not directly.

Worth a try. If a symbolic link doesn't work, try a hard link.
